Known for having integrated the revolutionary new product which is a hydrogen fuel cell truck with full hydrogen energy infrastructure supply chain under one roof, Nikola has made a mark in the trucking industry.
The new products launched by the company “Tre fuel cell truck” and “flexible mobile fueling trailer” are the examples of Nikolai’s fulfilled promise towards sustainability.
With its special features, The Tre has a range of 800 kms which is best suited for drayage and intermodal work.
At the same time, Nikola is all set to develop 300 metric tons of hydrogen per day under Hyla. Also, it will partner with TC Energy in Crossfield, Alta to produce 60 metric tons of hydrogen.
Nikola aims to establish 60 hydrogen stations by 2026 and California region will get the first ones along with a location on Port of Long Beach.
Making things easier, the company has come up with a mobile fueler which will supply hydrogen to 700 bar fuel-cell-electric trucks. This fueler will have a tube trailer carrying 960 kgs of hydrogen which will be used to refuel trucks.
According to the information shared by Nikola the first mobile fueler after having been tested has been released for operation.
