In yet another major take over, TFI International has acquired Montreal based Axsun Group.
TFI International is a noted service provider in Transportation and Logistics whereas Axsun with its operations across Canada and U.S. offers services in over-the-road highway, drayage, logistics and warehousing.
Axsun has a fleet of 20 tractors and 300 trailers with an annual revenue of C$90M.
TFI International in a recently issued statement clarified that Axsun’s founder, Steve Ramescu, will continue to run the operation under TFI’s logistics.
Alain Bedard, Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of TFI International appreciated Axsun’s existing business and stated that the merger will be beneficial in providing intermodal freight solutions for the trucking industry in Canada and the US.
