ਬਲੂ ਵਾਟਰ ਬ੍ਰਿੱਜ ਉੱਤੇ ਮੁਰੰਮਤ ਦਾ ਕੰਮ 5 ਜੁਲਾਈ ਤੋਂ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਓਨਟਾਰੀਓ ਟਰੱਕਿੰਗ ਐਸੋਸਿਏਸ਼ਨ (ਓਟੀਏ) ਵੱਲੋਂ ਕੈਰੀਅਰਜ਼ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਚੇਤੇ ਕਰਵਾਇਆ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਫੈਡਰਲ ਬ੍ਰਿੱਜ ਕਾਰਪੋਰੇਸ਼ਨ ਲਿਮਟਿਡ (ਐਫਬੀਸੀਐਲ) ਵੱਲੋਂ ਬਲੂ ਵਾਟਰ ਬ੍ਰਿੱਜ ਉੱਤੇ ਮੁਰੰਮਤ ਦਾ ਕੰਮ 5 ਜੁਲਾਈ, 2023 ਤੋਂ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ ਤੇ ਅਮਰੀਕਾ ਵਾਲੇ ਪਾਸੇ ਇਹ 5 ਅਕਤੂਬਰ, 2023 ਤੱਕ ਚੱਲੇਗਾ। ਕਿਸੇ ਕਿਸਮ ਦੀ ਦਿੱਕਤ ਤੇ ਅੜਿੱਕੇ ਨੂੰ ਖ਼ਤਮ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਕੈਨੇਡਾ ਵਾਲੇ ਪਾਸੇ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਦੋਵਾਂ ਦਿਸ਼ਾਵਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਚਲਾਇਆ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ ਤੇ ਉਸਾਰੀ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਵੀ ਇਸ ਉੱਤੇ ਆਵਾਜਾਈ ਜਾਰੀ ਰੱਖੀ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ। ਇਸ ਮੁਰੰਮਤ ਤੇ ਉਸਾਰੀ ਦੇ ਕੰਮ ਨਾਲ ਟਰੈਵਲਰਜ਼ ਜਾਂ ਲੋਕਲ ਕਮਿਊਨਿਟੀਜ਼ ਲਈ ਕੋਈ ਖਾਸ ਵਿਘਣ ਪੈਣ ਦੀ ਸੰਭਾਵਨਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ। ਕੈਨੇਡਾ ਬਾਰਡਰ ਸਰਵਿਸਿਜ਼ ਏਜੰਸੀ (ਸੀਬੀਐਸਏ) ਤੇ ਯੂਐਸ ਕਸਟਮਜ਼ ਐਂਡ ਬਾਰਡਰ ਪੋ੍ਰਟੈਕਸ਼ਨ (ਸੀਬੀਪੀ) ਵੱਲੋਂ ਕਮਰਸ਼ੀਅਲ ਟਰੈਫਿਕ ਨੂੰ ਤਰਜੀਹ ਦੇਣ ਦੀ ਅਹਿਮੀਅਤ ਨੂੰ ਸਮਝਿਆ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਇਹ ਯਕੀਨੀ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਸਰਹੱਦੋਂ ਆਰ ਪਾਰ ਵਸਤਾਂ ਦੀ ਢੋਆ ਢੁਆਈ ਨੂੰ ਨਿਯਮਿਤ ਤੌਰ ਉੱਤੇ ਚੱਲਦਾ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਜਾਵੇ।  ਇਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਇਹ ਵੀ ਯਕੀਨੀ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ ਕਿ ਸਰਵਿਸ ਦੇ ਪੱਧਰ ਨੂੰ ਆਮ ਵਾਂਗ ਬਰਕਰਾਰ ਰੱਖਣ ਲਈ ਵੱਧ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਲੇਨਜ਼ ਨੂੰ ਖੁੱਲ੍ਹਾ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਜਾਵੇ। ਪੋ੍ਰਜੈਕਟ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਲੇਨ ਤੱਕ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਨੂੰ ਘਟਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਨੈਕਸਸ ਤੇ ਫਾਸਟ ਮੋਟਰਿਸਟਸ, ਬੱਸਾਂ ਆਦਿ ਲਈ ਸਮਰਪਿਤ ਲੇਨ ਦੀ ਉਪਲੱਬਧਤਾ ਬਰਕਰਾਰ ਰੱਖਣ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਵੀ ਉਚੇਚਾ ਉਪਰਾਲਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਢੋਆ ਢੁਆਈ ਦਾ ਸਮਾਨ 3·35 ਮੀਟਰ (11 ਫੁੱਟ) ਤੋਂ ਘੱਟ ਰੱਖਣ ਦੀ ਹਦਾਇਤ ਵੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ।
