ਐਕਟ ਰਿਸਰਚ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਅਮਰੀਕਾ ਤੇ ਕੈਨੇਡਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਨੌਰਥ ਅਮੈਰੀਕਨ ਨੈਚੂਰਲ ਗੈਸ ਟਰੱਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਵਿੱਕਰੀ ਵਿੱਚ 11 ਫੀ ਸਦੀ ਦਾ ਵਾਧਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ। ਐਕਟ ਰਿਸਰਚ ਦੇ ਵਾਈਸ ਪ੍ਰੈਜ਼ੀਡੈਂਟ ਸਟੀਵ ਟੈਮ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਛੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਟਰੱਕ ਓਈਐਮਜ਼, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਹੈਵੀ ਡਿਊਟੀ ਨੈਚੂਰਲ ਗੈਸ ਮਾਰਕਿਟ ਉੱਤੇ ਅੰਦਾਜ਼ਨ 60 ਫੀ ਸਦੀ ਦਬਦਬਾ ਹੈ, ਵੱਲੋਂ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਗਈ ਰਿਪੋਰਟ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਨੈਚੂਰਲ ਗੈਸ ਨਾਲ ਚੱਲਣ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ ਗੱਡੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਵਿੱਕਰੀ ਮਾਰਚ ਤੋਂ ਮਈ ਮਹੀਨੇ ਦੇ ਅਰਸੇ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਰਲਵੀਂ ਮਿਲਵੀਂ ਰਹੀ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਮੁਤਾਬਕ ਸਾਲ ਦਰ ਸਾਲ ਦੇ ਹਿਸਾਬ ਨਾਲ ਮਾਰਚ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਾਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਵਿੱਕਰੀ ਵਿੱਚ 3 ਫੀ ਸਦੀ ਗਿਰਾਵਟ ਰਹੀ, ਇਸ ਸਾਲ ਅਪਰੈਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਿਛਲੇ ਸਾਲ ਅਪਰੈਲ ਮਹੀਨੇ ਦੇ ਮੁਕਾਬਲੇ ਵਿੱਕਰੀ 23 ਫੀ ਸਦੀ ਵੱਧ ਰਹੀ ਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਸਾਲ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਮਈ ਦੇ ਮਹੀਨੇ ਕੋਈ ਫਰਕ ਨਹੀਂ ਪਿਆ। ਫਰਵਰੀ ਤੋਂ ਮਾਰਚ ਤੱਕ ਇਹ ਵਿੱਕਰੀ ਦੁੱਗਣੀ (+96 ਫੀ ਸਦੀ ) ਹੋਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਅਪਰੈਲ ਤੇ ਮਈ ਮਹੀਨੇ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਗੱਡੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਵਿੱਕਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਮਵਾਰ ਮਨਫੀ 16 ਫੀ ਸਦੀ ਤੇ ਮਨਫੀ ਇੱਕ ਫੀ ਸਦੀ ਰਹੀ। ਤਿੰਨ ਮਹੀਨਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਅਰਸੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਜੇ ਵੇਖਿਆ ਜਾਵੇ ਤਾਂ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਗੱਡੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਸਾਂਝੀ ਵਿੱਕਰੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਗਿਰਾਵਟ ਦਰਜ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਜਦਕਿ ਸਾਲ ਦੇ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਪੰਜ ਮਹੀਨਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ 2021 ਦੇ ਮੁਕਾਬਲੇ 11 ਫੀ ਸਦੀ ਵਾਧਾ ਦਰਜ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਟੈਮ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ ਕਿ ਹੋ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਦੇ ਬਦਲ ਵਜੋਂ ਇਲੈਕਟ੍ਰਿਕ ਗੱਡੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਮਾਰਕਿਟ ਵਧੇਰੇ ਮਕਬੂਲੀਅਤ ਹਾਸਲ ਕਰ ਰਹੀ ਹੋਵੇ। ਸਾਨੂੰ ਇਲੈਕਟ੍ਰਿਕ ਚਾਰਜਿੰਗ ਸਟੇਸ਼ਨਜ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਾਧਾ ਆਮ ਵੇਖਣ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ।ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਹ ਇਲੈਕਟ੍ਰਿਕ ਚਾਰਜਿੰਗ ਸਟੇਸ਼ਨ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹਨ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਮੌਜੂਦਾ ਹਨ ਤੇ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਭਵਿੱਖ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਾਏ ਜਾਣੇ ਹਨ। ਅਜੇ ਵੀ ਅਸੀਂ ਟਰਾਂਸਪੋਰਟੇਸ਼ਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਨੈਚੂਰਲ ਗੈਸ ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਆਰਟੀਕਲਜ਼ ਪੜ੍ਹ ਸਕਦੇ ਹਾਂ ਤੇ ਇਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਹਾਈਡਰੋਜਨ ਫਿਊਲ ਸੈੱਲਜ਼ ਤੇ ਨਿਵੇਸ਼ ਬਾਰੇ ਵਿਚਾਰ ਵਟਾਂਦਰੇ ਬਾਰੇ ਵੀ ਸੁਣ ਸਕਦੇ ਹਾਂ। ਪਰ ਟਰੇਡ ਇੰਡਸਟਰੀ ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜੀਆਂ ਬਹੁਤੀਆਂ ਖਬਰਾਂ ਇਲੈਕਟ੍ਰਿਕ ਕਮਰਸ਼ੀਅਲ ਵ੍ਹੀਕਲ ਡਿਵੈਲਪਮੈਂਟ ਉੱਤੇ ਕੇਂਦਰਿਤ ਹਨ।
