Private Motor Truck Council (PMTC) Appoints Angela Munsterman as the New 2nd Vice Chair

Angela Munsterman as the New 2nd Vice Chair of PMTC

In an important development in Trucking Industry, Angela Munsterman, Specialist, Transportation Compliance with Coca-Cola Canada Bottling Ltd was appointed as the new 2nd Vice Chair of PMTC. 

In a statement released recently, PMTC President, Mike Millian referred to Angela as a valuable contributor to the industry. Angela  has been a member of PMTC Board of Directors for the last two years.

Also, PMTC appointed Andy Walker, Ontario Distribution Manager for Molson- Coors, and Patricia Burke, Coordinator, Fleet Safety & Driver Training for Canadian Blood Services, as two additional members on the Board of Directors. Walker and Burke will fill the vacant board roles for the remaining term of   2022/2023. 

It is significant to mention that PMTC is governed by a board that comprises of minimum 16 to maximum 25 members. 

Every year in June there is an annual general meeting of the members and it is during this time that the elections for the board are conducted. 

Except for the directors who serve 2-year terms, every board member is appointed for 1-year term. In addition, it is a laid statute that 60% of the board members should be Principal Fleet Members.
