Furthermore, Sean Adams/U.S. Navy/McElroy Truck Lines and Dave Marihugh/U.S. Navy/Roehl Transport became the rummers up and were awarded $10,000 check each.

In addition, all the 11 drivers who made it to the semifinals of the award were not only given a trip to Washington, D.C. but were also acknowledged for their military service and participation in the competition.

This award is a motivation for the military veterans as under this program, drivers can be nominated by trucking companies, training organizations, general public only by completing a nomination form on the “Transition Trucking: Driving for Excellence” website.
