ArriveCAN Changes to border and travel requirements

All travellers, regardless of citizenship will no longer have to submit public health information through ArriveCAN.

The Government of Canada has announced that as of October 1, 2022 at 12:01 a.m. EDT, mandatory public health measures at the border will end.

This marks an end to the following mandatory COVID-19 requirements for all travelers entering Canada:

        • the requirement to use ArriveCAN to provide mandatory public health information
        • to provide proof of vaccination

Air travelers will continue to have the option of using ArriveCAN to submit their customs and immigration declaration before landing in Canada.

Advance CBSA Declaration in ArriveCAN will continue to be available for travelers who arrive at the Toronto, Vancouver, and Montreal international airports and will expand to other airports in the coming months.
